Jenna is the Institute's on-site Performance Dietitian who graduated from the University of Colorado with an emphasis in nutrition. During her undergraduate education, she worked with both the U.S. Olympic Center and recreational athletes, fine tuning their nutritional regimens to enhance performance and optimize body composition.
Steve Hess has been a part of the Denver Nuggets organization as the team’s head strength and conditioning coach for 12 seasons. He has been keeping the Nuggets players in top physical form as he oversees all of the team’s weight training, conditioning, mobility, flexibility and nutrition. Steve has had experience working with athletes of all ages, skill levels and sizes. Steve is also credited with the design and arrangement of the Nuggets weight room that includes all the necessary equipment for professional athletes.
Kris attended Southwestern University earning his Bachelors in Kinesiology and Exercise Science, and completed a Sports Medicine internship at the United States Olympic Committee before starting as a Physical Therapy Technician at Panorama. With his strong background in sports science, Kris joins the Institute as a performance coach, bringing his passion to help others reach their best physical health.
Coach Rocha graduated with a degree in Health and Exercise Science from CSU in Fort Collins, CO where he also played basketball. Josh is a former collegiate basketball player, who also competed as a short and long distance track sprinter in high school. Josh understands the importance of preventing injury while training for a prolonged career in sport.
Taryn Brennan is the Nutrition Director at the Institute and is also a Registered Dietitian at Children’s Hospital Colorado where she completed her clinical internship in nutrition in conjunction with The University of Colorado Hospital after receiving her degree from Metropolitan State University of Denver. She has also earned a degree in Exercise and Sport Science from Western State Colorado University where after graduation she managed the daily activities of Western State’s nationally recognized High-Altitude Performance Lab.
Emily graduated from The Pennsylvania State University with a B.S. in Kinesiology in 2013. While there she held several internships, including working in the Golf Teaching and Research Lab and working with children at a local Easter Seals, a resource center for children with various special needs. After graduating she immediately began her training with Yoga Sport Science™
MAT Specialist - Katie Romano is a graduate from Metropolitan State University in Denver. She majored in Exercise Science and Adult Fitness. While completing her final year of college she also made the decision to become a Muscle Activation Techniques Specialist and got her certification in conjunction with her university graduation.
Kerry Flagg is the Director of Sales and Corporate Wellness at Panorama Wellness and Sports Institute. She has always believed movement and good nutrition are keys to living a happy, healthy life and strives to help people incorporate both into their lives.
Adam McLaughlin is the Associate Director of Performance at the Panorama Wellness and Sports Institute. Adam has been with the company since we opened back in 2015. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Endicott College, where he completed 3 different internships before graduating. In the time that Adam has worked at the “The Institute”, he has built a personal training client base of nearly 30 clients. He was most recently recognized by receiving the 2016 One-On-One Coach of the Year Award as he trained more clients in this calendar year than any other (D1 Trainer) in the country.
Lea Dunlap comes to The Institute as a highly touted Speed and Performance coach and trainer. Lea earned her undergraduate degree from Quincy University in Exercise Science where she also played college softball and was a member of the Dean’s list.
Max majored in Exercise Science with a minor in Nutrition and has worked with all populations, but focuses a lot of his time with athletes. Max is currently the Varsity Pitching Coach at Mountain Vista HS. Coach Pav focuses on his athletes mastering movements, scapular control, corrective exercises, flexibility, stability, and mobility.
Brooke Jelniker is one of the basketball coaches at the Panorama Wellness and Sports Institute. Brooke has been busy obtaining her NASM training certificate, specializing in Performance Enhancement. She is the girls Assistant Varsity coach at Valor Christian and coaches the 17’s Nike Girls team for Colorado Premier Basketball club.
Desmond grew up in Hopkinsville, Kansas and attended the University of Nebraska in Omaha where he was an All-American wrestler. Upon graduation, Desmond became a Certified Personal Trainer/ Strength and Conditioning Coach. He has worked in the fitness industry for over ten years and is known for his expertise in high-intensity training, strength and conditioning classes.
Jamar Bohannon (JB) is one of our expert basketball instructor’s here at The Institute. Jamar is also the Middle school Director and Head Coach of the Elevation Flyers. He has been coaching basketball and building great relationships with players since he first started just over 10 years ago in 2007.
Adrian is one of our Performance Coaches here at the Panorama Wellness & Sports Institute. Adrian has experience working with individuals of all fitness levels, ranging from collegiate athletes to individuals completely new to the fitness world. He has a strong soccer background which includes coaching and playing at the collegiate level.
Sean is a Performance Coach here at the Panorama Wellness and Sports Institute. Sean attended undergrad and played football for the Volunteers at the University of Tennessee at Knoxville (UT), pursuing degrees in Finance, Sports Management, Exercise Science and Economics. Sean still contributes in Athletes in Action (AIA), Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA), and Team United initiatives, as well as focusing on the key management and marketing aspects of less profiled student athletes.
Nick is a certified strength and conditioning specialist through the NSCA and is certified in Functional Movement Systems. He graduated from the University of North Texas with a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology, where he also completed an internship with UNT’s Mean Green athletics.
Matt Barnett is the Director of Basketball at the Chauncey Billups Basketball Academy at the Institute. Matt has a passion for basketball, especially in Colorado. He has been one of the top player development coaches in the state for the past 15 years. Matt has a reputation for “making” basketball players through his focus on the fundamentals, and attention to detail, while mentally and physically challenging players to reach their peak performance.
Amanda Parker, perhaps better known as “Mandy” by her co-workers and clients, is a performance specialist here at the Panorama Wellness and Sports Institute. Mandy graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education from Azusa Pacific University.
Derek Walters is also one of our Assistant Directors of Performance here at the Panorama Wellness and Sports Institute. Derek attended Colorado State University where he received a Bachelor’s degree in Health and Exercise Science.
Chauncey Billups, also known as “Mr. Big Shot” is a 5 time NBA All Star who played 17 seasons in the league. He was fortunate enough to play on numerous NBA teams, including the Boston Celtics, Toronto Raptors, Detroit Pistons, Orlando Magic, Los Angeles Clippers, New York Knicks, and of course, the Denver Nuggets.
