Max Pavel is a Colorado native and a Cherry Creek High School alumni. He graduated in 2009. At Cherry Creek he played Baseball and Golf. He went on to play baseball at Phoenix College in Arizona. He compiled over 130 innings on the mound during his two years there as a starting pitcher. In 2012, Max graduated from Phoenix with an Associates Degree and continued his education and continued playing baseball at Adams State University in Alamosa, Colorado. In the first game of the season on the mound he tore his UCL and had Tommy John surgery in 2013. Since that day his focus has been about mechanics and movement patterns to help younger players get better and stay healthy. During his recovery Max coached Varsity baseball as Bear Creek's pitching coach. He then returned to the field for the Roadrunners as a pitcher/3rd basemen and finished his degree at Metropolitan State University. Max majored in Exercise Science with a minor in Nutrition and has worked with all populations, but focuses a lot of his time with athletes. Max is currently the Varsity Pitching Coach at Mountain Vista HS. Coach Pav focuses on his athletes mastering movements, scapular control, corrective exercises, flexibility, stability, and mobility.
