Everyone knows that to become a better basketball player you must work on the fundamental skills of the game. However, many people overlook the explosiveness, the footwork, and the speed that takes your game to the next level.

You may have fast hands when dribbling or a great jump shot, but if you cannot move your feet and get past your defender to score, you're only reaching 50% of your potential. All great players add off-court training in speed, explosiveness and agility to their weekly training schedule to maximize their full potential.

Foot ladders box jumps and learning how to change directions quickly can make you a better basketball player. It is never too late to improve your athletic ability, make sure that you're becoming the player that you want to be by adding off-court training to your on-court regimen.
